
Saturday September 22nd, we'll roll the museum's airplanes onto the tarmac to have their engines tested. A necessary task, if we want to keep them in working condition.
Between 2pm and 4pm you can come and enjoy the atmosphere, created by the sound of these engines, the smell of castor oil and the vivid colours of yesterdays aeroplanes. Come and see our volunteers sweat, trying to get the machines started.
The event also gives you the opportunity to have a look at the airport from a spot that is normally not accessible to the public.
You get this little extra offered at the museum's normal entrance fee.
Needless to say that in case of rain or bad weather, the 'old birds' are kept inside....
