This aircraft also started its career with the Belgian Air Force where it flew as V5. More than 25 years ago, the aircraft was sold for civilian use. It passed through the hands of several owners: one of them being Kamiel Lievens from Aalst who operated it from this long closed airfield. He knew better than most what aerobatic possibilities the SV-4 possessed.
At the en of the nineties the aircraft came to Antwerp where it has since been based. Some years ago it has been completely overhauled and painted in the eye-catching, but historically correct yellow/black livery that was used by some of the Belgian Air Force Stampes.
