This aircraft is probably the most famous english plane that flew during World War I. It was also very popular with the pilots of that time, mainly because of its excellent prestations and manoeuvrability. About 5.490 examples of the Camel were built.
It also saw service with the Belgian Air Force.During 2004 this replica was repainted to represent an aircraft that flew with the 1st Squadron of the Belgian Air Force. This repaint was based on original photographs taken at the end of World War I
