Airport Visits

Schools and associations can make an interesting group visit to Antwerp Airport. A specialized guide of the Stampe en Vertongen Museum gives the group a two-hour tour and introduces the participants to the fascinating universe of the airport and aviation, then and now. Airport building, check- in, security control and current evolution are given ample attention. We visit the fire brigade and get a clear view of the daily workings of the airport on airside.

An interesting tour is also given in the Stampe en Vertongen Museum where you can see a collection of the world famous SV-4 aircraft built by Jean Stampe and Maurice Vertongen at their factory here at Antwerp. Apart from this, there is also a number of important WWI aircraft, the notorious V-1 flying bomb and a whole collection of pictures and memorabilia telling you the evolution of aviation in general and Antwerp more specific.

Group visits are possible every day, depending on the availability of the guides. For more information and/or reservations contact us by: e-mail
