Volunteers

We are always short of helping hands...

Why volunteers?

The museum would not be able to operate without the help of a team of enthusiastic volunteers who help us in every way possible. Some accompany visitors, man the museum counter or are involved in the restoration and maintenance of the aircraft and the collection. Those who cannot commit full-time help us with projects or events. We also count on those volunteers to keep the museum clean and orderly.

Wat are they doing?

Volunteering is not limited to a group of people, their knowledge, physical capabilities or time available. We appreciate all contributions that our volunteers make to ensure the proper functioning of the museum. In return, they find with us a group of like-minded souls, a good comradely atmosphere and above all fun and pleasure in performing the various tasks, knowing that all efforts are appreciated.

Who are we looking for?

Our greatest need is people who can regularly spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon keeping the museum open. We are mainly looking for friendly, energetic people who can keep the shop open, receive visitors and guides who can show the public around and answer questions if questions arise. Moreover, we are always looking for people who want to roll up their sleeves with us on Wednesday evenings. and assist in the maintenance of the museum and collection.

How do you become a volunteer?

Interested in adding to our team? Come and meet us on a Wednesday evening (7pm-9pm). First make an appointment with Paul Soons (tel: 32 474 877 366).

We're already preparing the coffee...
