Stampe Forever Fly In
16 & 17 May 2026
Visitor information
Back, but never gone: Stampe Forever Fly In returns to Antwerp Airport on May 16 and 17.
After a sabbatical year, the 31st edition of the Antwerp Fly In will take place on May 16 and 17, 2026, under the new banner ‘Stampe Forever’. The new organization promises a unique spectacle centering on Antwerp’s rich aviation history. “After a year of absence, we feel that the hunger among both pilots and the public is enormous,” according to the organization. Following a break in 2025, the tradition is being revived this spring. The focus lies on the iconic Stampe-Vertongen SV-4, the aircraft that put Antwerp on the world map as the cradle of Belgian aviation. Unlike a classic airshow, the Stampe Forever Fly In offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes of historical and modern aviation. The program combines static exhibitions with impressive demonstration flights.
"The Stampe Forever Fly In is a tribute to the engineers and pilots who gave Antwerp wings. After a year of absence, we feel that the hunger among both the pilots and the public is enormous," says organizer Dirk Spitaels of Stampe Forever.
Spectacular line-up
The provisionally confirmed line-up for 2026 promises to be a top edition. Visitors can look forward to impressive historic formations of the SV-4, the Fokker D.VII, and the Piper Cub. In addition, demonstration flights will take place with the Harvard, Chipmunk, Fouga Magister, Supermarine Spitfire, and the P40 Warhawk.
The experience is also complete on the ground. Visitors can walk among all these historic aircraft for a unique glimpse into the technology of yesteryear. An absolute crowd-puller is the Airbus A400M of the Belgian Air Force; visitors can admire this impressive transport aircraft up close and even explore the interior. Fly along yourself
Those who prefer to experience the magic of flying themselves can participate in one of the many introductory flights organized throughout the weekend.
